Purchase & Delivery:

Our furniture is made to order with care and attention. Once your order is placed, it goes straight to our atelier, where each piece is produced by hand. This way you are assured of a piece of furniture made especially for you.

At Mokani we like to keep the purchasing process clear and personal. You can pay securely via iDEAL, Klarna, or choose to pay on delivery.

If you choose to pay on delivery, we ask for a 10% deposit. Once this deposit has been paid, we forward your order to our atelier and the production process begins.

The standard delivery time is 5 to 7 weeks. This period gives us the room to craft each piece of furniture with the right care and finish.

Need your chairs sooner?

For our made-to-measure chairs we also offer express delivery within 3 weeks. Additional delivery costs of €300 apply for this. This option is available for chairs only.

When your piece of furniture is ready, we will contact you to arrange delivery. The remaining amount can then be paid on delivery. This way you combine made-to-measure craftsmanship with flexibility and peace of mind.

Not sure whether a chair or bar stool will fit well under your table or counter? We understand that completely. In that case we can shorten chairs and bar stools, so everything fits just right and feels comfortable. That way you can be sure it not only looks beautiful, but also sits comfortably.

You have a choice of six carefully selected wood colours: dark walnut, walnut colour, oak colour, brown, natural and a light wood tone. With our wood samples you can take your time at home to see what suits your table, kitchen fronts and interior best. In your own light, at your own moment. That brings peace of mind and certainty.

What makes the difference for many customers is our extensive sample book with more than 60 fabrics. Soft linen, rich bouclé, warm velvet and high-quality leather. By seeing and feeling the fabrics, you know exactly what to expect. No surprises afterwards – just a choice you feel good about.

The sample book with fabrics and wood samples is available for €19.95 and is offered as a deductible deposit. This means the amount is fully deducted from your next order.

Sometimes you want to do more than just see a piece of furniture on screen – you want to truly experience it. The shape, the seating comfort and the materials. That's why our chairs and bar stools can be viewed in Hulshout, in the characterful shop Whoow Soul Store.

In this shop we have been given the wonderful opportunity to display a selection of our furniture. You can walk in here without an appointment, take a seat at your ease and look at the finish up close. Our wood samples and fabric samples are also here, so you get a good impression of all the possibilities.

Important to know: Whoow Soul Store is not a Mokani point of sale. The shop gives us the space to show and experience our collection, but ordering always goes directly through Mokani. This way we keep personal contact and guide you step by step in your choice.

Materials & Finish:

For this model we work as standard with solid beech wood. Beech is known for its strength, stability and calm appearance, making it a reliable basis for everyday use.

In addition to beech wood, oak wood and real walnut wood are also among the options. Each of these wood types has its own character and appearance. Please note that when choosing oak or walnut the price may change and the colour may differ from the wood samples. Even when the same lacquer is used, each wood type gives its own tone and depth. This is not a difference in quality, but precisely the natural character of the material.

The upholstery is also finished with great care. The fabric is stretched tightly and precisely, with attention to detail and finish. Inside we use high-quality foam that ensures pleasant seating comfort and retains its shape with daily use.

This creates a piece of furniture that not only looks beautiful, but also feels comfortable and lasts a long time.

Clear and flexible ordering. You pay via iDEAL, Klarna, or upon delivery. For payment upon delivery, we require a 10% down payment, after which production starts in our workshop. Once your furniture is ready, we will schedule the delivery together.

Yes, absolutely! If the images of the fabrics or wood colors are not clear, you can always ask for photos of chairs in the desired color or fabric. If we have them available, we will gladly send them to you. Additionally, you are also very welcome to visit our showroom to view the fabrics in person and make your choice. This way, you can confidently choose the perfect combination for your interior.

Yes, it is possible to pay on delivery. We understand that it is not pleasant to pay the full amount upfront for an order that can take 4 to 7 weeks. That is why we offer the option to only pay a 10% down payment for an online order. You can easily pay the remaining 90% upon delivery. This provides security for both you and us.

At Mokani, we believe in a "cash on delivery" approach, and we like to make things as easy as possible for you. That's why we usually don't ask for a deposit for orders we expect to deliver quickly – because, let's be honest, who really loves paying deposits?

For online orders, we do ask for a symbolic 10% deposit. This is more to confirm the formality of the purchase than to make a dent in your wallet. You can pay the remaining amount upon delivery.

In some cases, such as with on-call orders or under specific circumstances, we may ask for a (small) deposit. But rest assured, we always try to keep it as simple and painless as possible!

For chair orders, delivery costs are €100 within the Netherlands and €150 in Belgium. For tables, delivery costs are €150 within the Netherlands and €200 in Belgium. We personally handle the delivery to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. Would you prefer to avoid delivery costs? You can also pick up the chairs for free in Enschede.

Upon delivery, you can only pay with cash. This is because we collaborate with artisans from countries such as Poland, Romania, and Serbia, where cash payments are often preferred. Therefore, it is more advantageous for us to receive our purchases in cash.

Additionally, cash payment helps us avoid transaction fees, which is especially important for larger purchases. The 10% down payment can easily be made via iDEAL or credit card, allowing us to prepare everything properly.

We understand that this can be a significant concern. Our own delivery service generally places furniture ready for use at your designated spot, unless otherwise stated with the product or in the order confirmation.

This spot must be accessible. We generally assume that the location where you want to place the furniture is easily reachable. As the customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture fits into your home. A bit of lifting is no problem – our delivery personnel are strong and experienced! However, let's be realistic, it must be feasible. Please note that any additional costs (such as for a moving lift or a glazier) will be at your expense.

If you live upstairs, there is no lift, access is too narrow, or there are any other special circumstances, please let us know when making the delivery appointment. This way, we can take this into account in our planning.

Because all our products are custom-made, it is not possible to return products. This applies in particular to products that have been customized to your specific wishes, such as furniture painted in a specific color or specially ordered or manufactured for you.

However, we understand that there may be exceptions. We can always discuss the possibilities and how we can assist you.

Canceling an order can vary depending on the situation. We therefore advise you to contact our customer service department as soon as possible. We can then discuss the possibilities and assist you further.

For some orders, for example if a product has already been put into production or is being or has been specially made for you, cancellation may no longer be possible or cancellation fees may be charged. This is in accordance with the CBW conditions.

Yes, product changes in your order may be possible if the order has not yet been put into production by our supplier or has not yet been processed in our spray booth. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the options. We will do our utmost to accommodate your request, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that changes are still possible.

Preparing for furniture delivery may require several steps to ensure a smooth delivery. Here are some points to consider:

  • Be Present: After we contact you to schedule a delivery appointment, it's important that you, or someone else, is home within the agreed time slot. This is necessary to welcome our delivery personnel. If you need to leave during the agreed time slot, please inform our scheduling team so that, upon request, we can call you half an hour beforehand to give you an update on the estimated arrival time.
  • Clear the Space: Ensure that the place where the furniture will be located is clear, as well as the path to this location. This makes it easier for our delivery personnel to deliver and place your new furniture without obstacles.
  • Help at Hand: Although we usually deliver with two people, it may happen that our driver is alone. In that case, we would greatly appreciate it if you could help with bringing in and placing the furniture.
  • Payment: We only accept cash payments for our delivery service. This is because we often work with artisans from countries such as Poland, Romania, and Serbia, where cash payments are preferred. Furthermore, cash payment helps us avoid transaction fees, which is especially important for larger purchases.

The invoice for your order will be included with the delivery or emailed at the time of dispatch. If you need a copy of the invoice at a later date, please feel free to contact us. We will then resend the invoice to your email address.
