When designing the Mokani Sofa, we drew inspiration from the organic shapes you see in nature. This trend, which currently dominates the interior world, is all about flowing lines and natural movements. We translated this into a sofa that effortlessly radiates calm and comfort, without compromising on style.
With its soft, round shapes and curved lines, the Mokani Sofa creates a sense of relaxation and harmony in any space. Instead of the clean, angular designs that were long the norm, the organic shape makes the sofa feel like a natural element in your living room. The design is inviting from every angle, making the sofa a statement piece without being obtrusive.
Frame and materials: In creating these flowing shapes, we chose high-quality, kiln-dried hornbeam wood for the frame – a material known for its strength and durability. This wood provides the stability needed to support the organic shapes, while the metal legs add a modern, industrial accent that pairs perfectly with the clean finish of the sofa.
Seat and comfort: We paid particular attention to comfort and support. The sofa is fitted with HR foam with a density of 32, which ensures a perfect balance between softness and firmness. This combination not only offers a pleasant seating experience, but also long-lasting support when you want to relax for hours. The seat is deliberately designed to envelop your body naturally – just like the organic shapes of the sofa itself.
Modular dimensions: The dimensions of the Mokani corner sofa make it the perfect choice for larger spaces. With a width of 370 cm, a depth of 60 cm and a height of 82 cm, the sofa fits effortlessly into spacious living rooms, while the flowing lines ensure it doesn't dominate the space, but rather complements it.
The organic design is not just a trend, but a lasting turn towards designs that bring calm and natural beauty indoors. With the Mokani corner sofa, we have embraced this trend, and we are convinced that this design will remain an iconic piece of furniture in any modern interior for years to come.
